very pleasant
friendly competent staff, comfortable beds, close to the park and great bakery on site
the rooms are a bit small but that's understandable given that it's Tokyo.

What was the highlight of THE KNOT TOKYO Shinjuku
Good value hotel with challenging transit in bad weather.
Clean, friendly service, upgraded rooms are a nice size for Tokyo. Breakfast was nice though almost entirely western and almost no variety from day to day.
Transit is a long walk and was difficult in summer heat. We took taxis to and from Shinjuku station several times to save ourselves after long days on our feet in the heat. Beds were a bit hard and pillows minimal. Bathroom smelled a bit like mildew despite a clean appearance.
